Dag Albert is a highly successful eventer originally from Sweden and now based in Lichfield, England.

Dag’s first major success was as Junior Swedish Eventing Champion in 1987. Dag went on to represent his country as a young rider and then as a senior in the Atlanta Olympics, the Hague World Championships and five European Championships.

Dag has competed in all major UK three and four star events for over a decade including Burghley, Blenheim, and Badminton. In 1995 Dag was second at Burghley on Nice N’Easy only being narrowly beaten by Andrew Nicholson.

 

In 2004 Dag was eighth at Bramham, fifth at Blenheim and fifth at Malmo on Who’s Blitz. Dag also managed the fastest cross country time in the 2005 European’s at Blenheim as first horse to go, and was overall 14th at the World's in 2006.

As well as regularly eventing, Dag runs a successful business. He produces and sells a selection of quality horses, in addition to training both horse and rider from novice to advanced level.
